Strarf Lavina (Busou Shinki)

I was wanting to do a kind of pinup, but have SOMETHING in the background. The harsh white looked really good, and it gives the feeling of waking up in a brightly lit room and trying to focus.. I hope anyways.. This is one of my FAVORITE characters from this line of toys from Konami.. She is supposed to be a "good" version of Strarf mk2. I used the actual figure as reference, and will be doing more as I have a whole lot of them and they lend themselves well to being models. This took me a LONG time simply because I am trying some new methods with my work, and it's kind of like teaching yourself to draw with your foot... Hopefully this is well received by fans of the show, as well as the figurines and the Battle Masters game.

BTW, yes the gun is supposed to be that big, if not a bit bigger. Normally she holds it with her mech hand..

This was done as a loose sketch in pencil then extensive work in PS CS2.
